Symposium: The Shape of a Circle in the Mind of a Fish, Part 1

Artists, dancers, writers, scientists and anthropologists gather at the London Zoo to consider animal, human and artificial consciousness, language and cognition. Programmed in collaboration with Ian Cheng and Filipa Ramos. This evening is the first in a series of four events over a year, dedicated to interspecies research, inspired by the pioneering work of Lynn Margulis, Donna Haraway and Ursula Le Guin. Participants include Ted Chiang, Claire Filmon (performing choreographies by Simone Forti) and Michela De Mattei, among many others.
