Management Accountant

The Serpentine Galleries is currently recruiting a Management Accountant to support the Head of Finance with financial reporting as well as ensuring compliance and best practice is developed and maintained across the organisation. The role will support the Head of Finance with financial reporting as well as ensuring compliance and best practice is developed and maintained across the organisation. The Management Accountant will be instrumental in the production of key management information including the preparation of the annual budget, forecast updates and monthly management accounts. 

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, with commercial acumen and experience of financial monitoring variance analysis and reporting. The candidate will have excellent customer service skills, and experience of being proactive and developing effective working relationships with budget holders and senior colleagues.

Head of Patrons

The Galleries are now seeking a Head of Patrons to develop and drive an aspirational Patrons programme that engages and retains members to enable the Serpentine to expand its art, architecture, design, education and public programmes.  Reporting to the Director of Development, you will be responsible for enhancing the Serpentine’s reputation for developing bespoke benefits packages and providing first-class, personalised donor care.

With a demonstrable track record in securing philanthropic gifts at the 4 and 5-figure level and creating innovative stewardship opportunities, you will be a sophisticated and diplomatic communicator, with the confidence to build strong relationships at a senior level, across the organisation. Your collaborative nature and enterprising spirit will inspire those around you and help to realise the potential of the Serpentine’s Patrons programme and wider development team efforts.  Your proven networking and organisational abilities will support you in developing and sustaining long-term relationships with high-level donors.
