Digital Content and Social Media Editor

The Serpentine is an open landscape for art and ideas, bridging two sites and multiple worlds in London’s Kensington Gardens.  Placing artists at our core and building on a half century of programming excellence, we continue to evolve and experiment, forging connections across disciplines, offering a platform for innovation, and bringing our global audience closer to art.  The Serpentine’s ambition is to lead digital innovation in the arts by creating and commissioning pioneering digital content, taking a sector-wide role in promoting technological advances, as well as making more of its programme available digitally to a truly diverse global audience.

The Communications Team at the Serpentine Galleries is responsible for an interconnect focus on the core website, in-gallery mobile tours, social media, content generation and the online shop.  The team are currently recruiting for a Digital Content and Social Media Editor who will lead on an ambitious audience engagement strategy, producing the most engaging, high quality, multi-media content.

Head of Learning and Research

We are excited to be running a search for a candidate to fill the position of Head of Learning and Research.  This new senior role provides an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, visionary, experienced leader from the worlds of international arts, higher education, community engagement or any combination of these.

We are looking for a leader to develop and expand upon the learning strategy and deliver an ambitious internationally-recognised local, national and online learning programme that falls in line with the institution’s reputation for quality, innovation and impact.  The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience, with some of this experience working in a contemporary art institution.

Corporate Partnerships Executive

We are looking for an individual to join the Corporate Development team to assist in the delivery of all corporate supporters’ benefits, helping to account manage these relationships and strive for their renewal.  You will also support a prestigious portfolio of corporate prospects and actively contribute to the annual corporate fundraising targets across corporate sponsorship, long-term partnerships and in-kind support.

The ideal candidate will need to have excellent experience of servicing corporate clients, ideally gained in a comparable fundraising or communications environment, and a proven track record of helping support significant relationships towards an overall corporate target.  They may well also have had experience in project management and client handling, across major sponsorship, corporate membership and entertaining packages in the arts or corporate sector within proven budgeting, administrational and organisational skills.
