During the workshop teachers engaged in a series of practical activities inspired by the figures – construction workers, a cleaner and a house painter – from the Serpentine’s Duane Hanson exhibition.

The workshop was designed to support English teaching and was suitable for Key Stage 1-4 teachers and teaching assistants.

‘I enjoyed discovering great practical ideas which I could take back to the classroom!’

‘This could really spark some amazing stories working in creative writing.’
